A move reminder is an NPC or system that lets a Pokémon relearn certain moves it could have learned previously, often including level-up moves. The requirements vary by game: some charge an item, while others allow free relearning from a menu. A move reminder is useful after evolution, accidental deletion, or when a Pokémon is caught at a high level and missed earlier moves. It does not necessarily teach every move the Pokémon has ever had; TMs, Egg Moves, tutor moves, and transfer-only moves may follow different rules.
