In some modern Pokémon games, special mint-like items can change the stat effects normally associated with a Pokémon’s Nature. The summary screen may still display the original Nature, but the effective stat increase and decrease follow the mint’s Nature. This is useful when you have a favorite Pokémon with the wrong Nature for its moveset. It does not change IVs, EVs, Ability, species, or level. Availability differs by game, and older titles may require breeding or catching another Pokémon instead. Choose the effective Nature based on the Pokémon’s role and moves rather than changing it without a clear plan.
